Every night, a city watches
Step into the Arena and find out how long it holds its eyes on you. Not a feed — a competition for the one thing that cannot be faked.
No account · No feed · Your attention is the vote
Citynight counts the hard thing. When your moment fills someone's screen, a clock starts. How long do they hold? That measured second is the most honest number on the internet.
Why we measure attention →Three movements. No noise.
- 01
View
A moment fills the screen. The platform measures the seconds you stay before you move on. That number — hold time — is the currency of Citynight.
- 02
Double-tap
When something stops you, double-tap. The sharpest signal a viewer can send — a deliberate mark of attention, not a passive scroll-by.
- 03
Hold time, measured
Every gaze becomes data. Hold time, skip latency, revisits — one attention score that decides your rank in the city tonight.
Each city is its own contest
A moment entered in Athens competes in Athens. Win your city and the platform marks it — visibly, permanently. More cities open as real activity earns them.
At midnight, the city goes blank
At 00:00, Europe/Athens time, every leaderboard empties. Yesterday's rank is sealed into the record — an immutable snapshot, a badge, a line in your history. Then the city is blank again.
Attention is not a balance you accumulate forever. It is a contest you re-enter every single night. The reset is the stake. Tonight is the only currency that spends.
Before you enter
What is Citynight?
Citynight is a real-time human attention competition. People enter cinematic live moments into a city arena, and the platform measures how long real viewers actually hold their attention on each one. Rankings reset every 24 hours.
Do I need an account to watch?
No. Viewers enter the Arena with no account and no sign-up. You watch, you skip, you double-tap. Your attention is the vote. Only people who want to enter their own moments create an account.
How is this different from social media?
Social media counts likes and follower totals. Citynight counts hold time — the seconds a real person spends looking at your moment before they move on. There are no public follower counts, and the leaderboard empties every night.
Is Citynight free?
Yes. Watching is free. Entering one moment a day is free. There is no paid placement in the Wave 1 Arena — rank is earned only through attention.
What age do I need to be?
Citynight is a 16+ platform. A first-visit age gate confirms you meet the minimum age. Explicit content is not permitted.
